Cleaving Through The Waves, Winning The Championship
On the afternoon of November 10th, the 13th China Cup International Regatta youth unified design group race started in the Judiaosha sea area of Dapeng, Shenzhen. As the future of the China Cup and regatta, a total of 12 clubs from all over the country and 124 young sailors participated in the races of three boats types and four classes. Their sailing shapes reflected in the blue sea under the clear sky, again and again cleaving through the waves and surpassing themselves while racing to the end.
The China Cup International Regatta is the number one sailing regatta event in Asia and the third in the world. In 2010, it was included in the "World Sailing League Calendar".
The Nanjing Foreign Languages School Sailing Team participated in the most competitive FE23, the skipper and helmsman (Su Yikang, Class 2 of 12th Grade), the pitman (Zhang Shuwei, IB Class 2 of 12th Grade), the bowman (Fan Xiang, Class10 of 9th Grade), the spinnaker trimmer (Yang Yaocong, IB Ckass2 of 11th Grade), the jib trimmer (Zhou Yilong, Class 4 of 9th Grade), all 5 players worked closely and won the 2019 CHINA CUP (China Cup Regatta) FE23 champion after 6 rounds of races!
