NFLS Teachers in Wanzhou for the Communication Event
Led by Vice Principal Zhou Yi, a team of 8 people went to Nanjing High School, a school supported by NFLS in Wanzhou District of Chongqing, to participate in the education and teaching event called “focus on class, led by experts and guided by knowledge”.
Principal Zhao of Nanjing High School expressed his gratitude to NFLS for our help in the welcome ceremony, and introduced the development direction of Nanjing High School for the next stage. After that, President Xiang of Wanzhou College of Teachers’ Further Education started from teaching and research and talked about how the immigrants from the Three Gorges caused the education problems of Wanzhou and how Nanjing had helped with the problems. In the end, Vice Principal Zhou Yi of NFLS congratulated Nanjing High School on the initial results that they had achieved in running the school. He said besides the continuous support in hardware, in the future we would provide more help in training teachers and teaching and research.

After class the Teaching and Research Institute organized a communication section, including the teachers’ discussion, the experts’ comments and question and answer. The 7 classes were spoken highly by the experts for the creative ideas, excellent design and good effect. In the discussion, most of the teachers thought that the classes “observed the laws of the students’ cognition, respected the process of knowledge, considered the change of the students’ feelings and encouraged the students to explore by themselves”, which made them experience the unique teaching ideas of NFLS, the good relationship between teachers and student and the dynamic in class and served well as a good example for the class teaching in Wanzhou.
