Unity Is Strength, Persistence Is Growth – On Second Day of 2019 NFLS Junior Grade 1 Freshmen Enrollment Education
The sun was still shining on August 21, 2019. At 8:00 a.m., the freshmen of Grade 19 in Nanjing Foreign Language School gathered together in their own class. After the short speeches of the head teachers, the instructors led the neat lines to the playground for one-day rich and challenging training.
Today's session was concise, but the task requirements were obviously higher than the first day.
On the morning, under the guidance of teachers Shi Xiucheng and Xie Yaxiong, the students reviewed what they learned yesterday and continued to study the fist positions. Other teachers in the sports group had face-to-face instruction to make the students’ actions more standard. A group of outstanding students were selected to have special training at noon, and they would become glorious leaders.
After that, the instructors led the students to review the military song, queuing and marching actions. In turn, starting with the first queue, the practice was in order.
After a pleasant lunch at noon, the teachers led the students to deal with class matters and had a noon break.
The content on the afternoon was still compact. The classes had one and a half hours of election campaign of the class committee and subject representatives. The students actively participated in. they were passionate, calm, or humorous and sincere, showing self-confidence and enthusiasm for serve the class and others.
Afterwards, the students once again practiced the fist positions on the green field, led by our own representatives rather than upperclassmen. Again and again, the teachers paid more attention to the overall coordination, constantly encouraging the students, who responded with louder “Ha” and more powerful actions. It looked so mighty.
After a short break, the students continued to receive military training, which became stricter. The students had to increase their awareness that they were a member of the row and the team so that their words and actions were very important and they should be responsible for their classmates and class. If they did well, we gave their class thumbs up, but if one was violated, all of the students had to undertake responsibility. The students practiced more seriously, and this is growth.
At the playground, teachers of the Student Affairs Office and medical teachers were well prepared for emergency protective measures, and teachers of property management sent buckets of purified water. Their care warmed the students when they fetched water. On the training ground, the head teachers had been recording the progress of the students. The team spirit of the 12 classes has shown up with unity and persistence.
