FOREIGN LANGUAGES SCHOOL

In order to help the stduents improve their English, learn more about the history, culture and society of the native countires, create practical opportunities to learn the language, NFLS has decided to organize the following overseas summer camps. Anyone who’s both excellent in scholar and character, healthy, legal ( senior 3rd graders are not allowed to apply) is welcome to apply. The details are the following: 
1. The East and West Coast of the US, Homestay Famous Schools’Summer Camp ( Chicago, Salt Lake City and Philadelphia)
Total days: 24 days ( including the travel time)
Chicage camp: July 11-August 3rd, 2015
Salt Lake City camp: July 12th -August 4th, 2015
Philadelphia camp: July 11th - August 3rd, 2015
Fee: 40800 yuan per person ( including the prepayment of 3000 yuan per person) 
The fee includes: visa application fee, return tickets, domestic transportation, insurance, food and accomodation ( the specially marked in the itinerary is excluded), course, activities, transportation in the US, travelling, tips, and a bottle of mineral water per person every day.
The fee excludes: application for passport, notarial fee, overweight luggage, personal consumption ( international phone calls, laundry, shopping) etc, and other fees which are not mentioned in the intinerary. 
Qualified pplicants: students in both junior high and senior high ( those once rejected by the US Embassy are not welcome). The size of each camp ( Chicago, Salt Lake City and Philadelphia) is 45 students ( 40 students or less can’t make a camp but can do with the students outside NFLS)

2. The world’s famous school, US California Science Research Course
   Organizer: NFLS and Jiangsu Province International Education Exchange Service       Center
Total days: 20 days (including the travel time)  July, 2015 ( the exact departure time will be decided as the visa and air ticket are done) 
Fees: 40800 yuan per person ( including the prepayment of 3000 yuan per person) 
The fee includes: visa application fee, return tickets, insurance, courses in the US, food and accomodation, service fees, return domestic transportation to airport  tips, etc. 
The fee excludes: application for passport, overweight luggage, personal consumption, meals at the domestic airport.
Qualified applicants: students in both junior high and senior high ( junior 3rd graders and those rejected by the US Embassy are not welcome)  
3. Britain Culture Elite Learning Course
Organizer: NFLS and Jiangsu Province International Education Exchange Service       Center
Total days: 15 days ( indluding the travel time) July, 2015 ( the exact departure time will be decided as the visa and air ticket are done) 
Fees: 40800 yuan per person ( including the prepayment of 3000 yuan per person) 
The fee includes: visa application fee, return tickets, insurance, courses in the US, food and accomodation, service fees, domestic transportation to/from airport,  tips, etc. 
The fee excludes: application for passport, overweight luggage, personal consumption, meals at the domestic airport.
Qualified applicants: students in both junior high and senior high
4. 2015 British Oxford Cultural Experience Camp
Oragnizer: NFLS and Jiangsu Zhuoyue Internatioal Exchange Education Foundation
Total days: 17days ( including the travel time) July, 2015 ( the exact departure time will be decided as the visa and air ticket are done) 
Fees:  34000 yuan per person ( including the prepayment of 3000 yuan per person) 
The fee includes: return ticket, domestic transportation, visa application, insurance, food and accomodation, courses, travels, activities, transportation in Britain, admissions, a bottle of mineral water per person every day. 
The fee excludes: application for passport, overweight luggage, notarial fee, personal consumption ( phone calls, laundry, shopping, etc), and other fees which are not mentioned in the intinerary. 
Qualified applicants: students in both junior high and senior high. the size of each camp: 45 students. When fewer than 45 students, the camp has to be scraped up. 
5. Australia Golden Coast Experience Course
Organizer: NFLS and Jiangsu Province International Education Exchange Service       Center
Total days: 14 days ( including travel time) July, 2015 ( the exact departure time will be decided as the visa and air ticket are done)
Fees: 28800 yuan per person ( including the prepayment of 3000 yuan per person) 
The fee includes: visa application and the service fee involved, tickets, domestic transpotation to/ from the airport, insurance, courses in Australia, food and accomodation, transportation, tips, service fees, etc. 
The fee excludes: application for passport, overweight luggage, personal consumption, meals at the domestic airport.
Qualified applicants: students in both junior high and senior high. the size of each camp: 45 students. When fewer than 30 students, the camp can’t be scraped up. 
6. Irish European Cultural Experiencing Course
Organizer: NFLS and Jiangsu Province International Education Exchange Service       Center
Total days: 15 days ( including the travel time) July, 2015 ( the exact departure time will be decided as the visa and air ticket are done)
Fees: 36800 yuan per person ( including the prepayment of 3000 yuan per person) 
The fee includes: visa application and the service fee involved ( including the transportation to/from the visa center for collecting the fingerprints), tickets, domestic transpotation to/ from the airport, insurance, courses in Ireland, food and accomodation, transportation, tips, service fees, etc. 
 The fee excludes: application for passport, overweight luggage, personal consumption, meals at the domestic airport.
Qualified applicants: students in both junior high and senior high. the size of each camp: 45 students. When fewer than 30 students, the camp can’t be scraped up. 
7. Exchange with US Sister School, September-October, 2015
Organizer: NFLS and OES High School, Portland, US
Total days: about 15 days, September-October, 2015 ( not dedided)
Fees: the fees will be decided by the actual number of the students ( including visa application, return tickets, insurance, courses in US, food and accomodation, transportation, visits, tips, service fees, etc. Application for passport and personal consumption are not included. )
Exchange activities: 1) experience US high school life at OES High School, each family receives one Chinese student.
2) Visits in the US.
3) the OES students who provide reception to NFLS students will visit NFLS in spring in 2016, and will stay in the NFLS’s students’ homes whom the OES students offer reception during September-October, 2015.
Quailified applicants: junior 1st graders and 3rd graders among whom 12 junior 1st graders ( 6 boys and 6 girls) and 5 junior 3rd graders who are Triple-Excellent Students ( male or female) are selected.
The summer camp application procedure:
1. Summer camp introduction: 4:30 pm, Monday, March 16th  ( about 40 minutes) 
                            Location: the Report Hall on campus ( parents and students should attend) 
2. Fill in the application form: download the application form from the school website, fill in accordingly.
3. Submitting time: March 17th -19th ( 8:00- 16:00)
Submit the application form to the Foreign Affair Office ( Room 401, Administration Building)
( Some students can submit the application to the head of the junior Grade 3 or Ms. Wu Min, a teacher of Sino-British class on March 17th, later than that, please submit to the Foreign Affair Office)

Notes: 
1. The sequences of the activities on all itineraries can be changed; the actual departure time and arrival time will be determined by the final flight arrangements.
2. According to relevant terms and conditions, if delayed at the airports by force majeur, the students’ custodians are liable to pay the extra expenses. 
3. Applicants must have his/her passports ready before April 10th.
4. For those who have already had their own passport with the valid date before March, 2016, please renew the passport. ( attached are the details of the location of where you can apply for a passport. It needs about 15 work days to get one)
